Organ donation: learn the facts, save a life
Nearly 500 Kansans await lifesaving transplants. Tens of thousands more need life-enhancing tissue or cornea transplants each year. Just one donor can save as many as eight lives and directly improve the lives of up to 50 others. Are you registered?
Midwest Transplant Network will present the June 9 installment of Coffey Health System’s Lunch & Learn series at noon in the Coffey County Hospital conference room. MTN is dedicated to increasing awareness and education about the need for organ, tissue and eye donation.
Attendance and lunch are free. Seating is limited, so register today by calling Virginia DuBuke at (620) 364-2121 Ext. 4174. Evening callers may leave a voice-mail including their name, telephone, and the number of people wanting to attend. Reservations are also taken online at www.coffeyhealth.org.
The Lunch & Learn series is a community service of Coffey Health System.
